Ouucchh!

Dear little Sean scalded his hand, I am not sure whether any of you have read the original story at http://www.littleskywalker.blogspot.com/. But here goes my version of it.

They were having a "hot porridge" under a tree at a small town in Ipoh. The wind was blewing softly, everyone was having a rest-day. All they could think of was what to eat later on, and what to buy home to KL. Each ordered their meal and J, being a caring mum order porridge for the little Sean since he only eats that porridge which also called - yucky rice soak in water for a long time.

Luke on the other hand, only eats what he drinks ordered a freshly squeeze orange juice, with lil ice. Few minutes later, while Sean was busying with his I-touch, Luke's drinks arrived. Sean eyesight immediately got hold of the icy cold orange juice which his all time hated bro - Luke is having obviously, he straight away got up from his 1 feet high baby chair, and press on to the table. "Pshhhahhhhhaaa" there goes his little winnie hand into a hot bowl of porridge which was meant to end of as "Sean's gold".

As soon as the "Psshhhahhhhaaaa" sounded, eaters at the food court all stop what they were eating and rush to the table of 'glory', giving the already panic parents words of wisdom from each and every one. They filtered all their comments and settle down with putting lil Sean scalded hand in icy cold water. Not sure if Sean is crying at this moment, or whether Luke is still hanging on to his drink, well who cares! His dad face is as black as C = 0, M = 0, Y = 0, K = 100.
The very unfortunate local friend who were joining their 'scared' meal, quickly direct them to a nearby hospital, which apprently wasnt that near due to him being panic and lost their way.

Finally they got to the hospital tired and hungry. The treatment was being round and round because someone told the doc Sean whole hand was BURNT instead of SCALD.

There goes a happy weekend holiday and they head back to the safest place on earth with all guardian angels around - HOME (with no hometown food!)

It was 5 days ago this happened, and look at Sean cute hands now!

My Trip to the Hospital

It was not my first time, waking up 6 oclock in the morning, dragging my lazy ass to the hospital with my grandma.

I never like the trip, not the part which i could accompany my grandma, but it's just sad to realize how much trouble one goes through just to see a doc. Most of them whom are senior citizens, either with a walking stick, or just too old to be queuing. Whenever i take a walk with my grandma, i always make an effort to slow down my pace, sometimes i even exagerate so she could walk ahead of me, thus making her feel younger.

There's just so much insecurities one gets when they gets older, equivalent to a baby who needs to be cuddle, all the time. I breifly summarize a very basic checkup trip my grandma goes through once every 3-4 months.

1. Wake up way early in the morning, and tag along my insane bro who works near the General Hospital.

2. Pacing to get to the counter to get a ticket, which will normally be around 6.40a.m.

3. Waits for the nurses to arrived. The nurse then call for her number which eventually leads to ANOTHER ticket.

4. Grab the ticket furiously and pacing to get to another department to wait again (around 8a.m.)

5. Waiting patiently outside the consultation room for the nurses in duty to call her name.

6. "Wong ___ ___!" (2sec- where my grandma will slowly gets up) ... "Wong ___ ___!" (2sec- where my grandma will furiously try to walk past other people) ... "Siapa Wong ___ ___?" (where the nurse finally get a glimpse of a sweet old lady waving to her)

7. She check her bp, weight and grandma waits again for her name to be call.

8. Around 8.45a.m, nurse called her name and finally grandma gets to make her way into the consultation room.

Damn, it still takes me 8 points to finalize a simple check up trip.

Mushroom Me

I just had a hair cut yesterday. I ask for this particular haircut after flipping through a comic. Too bad he said i can only do it in a few months time, as i cannot cut my long hair -> short hair. Have to be long -> medium -> short since i had curls last December.

I also ask to cut my fringe super short as it wouldn't bother me for a few months i hope. Hello mushroom me~

Soft Feel for Ladies

Mr. T gave me this last weekend. It is suppose to have a softer feel & go further and straighter. I went on srixon.com.my to find out more of what this little baby can do, since i am definately not going to try it in person, it's a gift!

Going to range was once in a bluemoon thing now since i start going to the badminton court as it does less damange to my fingers joint as compare to golf. For someone my height, sports in a lot of areas are consider a disadvantage :( But short people are normally faster! Ha ha..

I remembered i hate my first range session after A LOT if air swings. I never went again for a few months. During my 2nd attempt, god knows how i was able to hit the damn ball! Then i started to practise in the office, ha ha. I started from air swing to 75- 90m, all with a 8 iron. It was then consider a leisure sport for me, to entertain those who needed to be entertain .haha..

So imagining i was going to hit these balls, it should goes 125m? Ha ha. Oh ya Thanks again Mr. T!

Evil

Growing up with my lil nephews, makes me realise how vunerable kids are.

Situation
1. Leave him/her for just 5 secs, he might hit something, bleed, swell or crying like mad.
2. Bring him/her to the playground, he/she accidentaly fell down (which are at 80% of the possibility)
3. If so lucky, he/she did not fell and hurt himself, but forgot to wash his tiny lil hands and feets that eventually cause diaerhhea in a few day times.
4. Bacteria and virus infection - 99% of the time
5. Kidnap / abused / mistreated

Conclusion, they are like the blocks of white water tofu, which are not much difference that us, an adult, just in different ways.

When we were young, our parents loves us more than themself, making sure we do not leaves any physical scar after every fall, feeding us nourished food, making sure we have enough cloths to keep us warm. I feel very sad when i see adults mistreating themself with ciggarates, drugs, a lot of amount of alcohol. What is most cherish and taken care of are then go to waste. How devastating!

Unfortunately, not everyone have a heart. Read more here http://mt.m2day.org/2008/content/view/18824/84/ and you will see why. I do not know who he is, where he is from, how he died, why he died, when he died, I am just terribly sad to see the diagnosis of the report, the image itself and the fact that it actually did happened, somewhere in mankind.
